No Evidence of Honey Trap’: Amna Urooj’s Lawyer Refutes Khalilur Rehman’s Claims

Amna Urooj’s lawyer has challenged the honey trap allegations made by Khalil-ur-Rehman, asserting that there is no evidence to support the claims against Urooj. During a hearing at the Anti-Terrorism Court in Lahore, the lawyer emphasized that the accusations are unfounded and lacking substantial proof.

Khalil-ur-Rehman’s lawyer has requested additional time to prepare, submitting a power of attorney on behalf of the plaintiff. Consequently, the court has postponed the hearing until August 10 for further preparation.

Earlier, Amna Urooj’s lawyer stated that Khalil-ur-Rehman began blackmailing Urooj about a month ago, threatening to release compromising photos taken in a changing room. Urooj, a property dealer and ad creator, had been contacted by Rehman under the pretense of work, but the interaction reportedly turned inappropriate.

The lawyer claims that Rehman suggested helping Urooj’s career in exchange for personal favors and that incriminating chats and evidence are available on a mobile phone accessed by police officials. Rehman allegedly pressured Urooj for a physical relationship under threat of exposing the photos.

The situation reportedly worsened when Hasan Shah, alleged to be the mastermind behind the scheme, arrived during a meeting. Despite Urooj’s efforts to intervene, Shah warned her of severe consequences if she did not comply.

The situation escalated further when both Urooj and Rehman were reportedly kidnapped by Shah. Urooj was later released and claimed to have been tortured by the police, who allegedly pressured her to falsely declare the incident a honey trap.
